A Winding, Bumpy Road to New Beginnings

Life sure follows a winding and bumpy road every now and again, huh? I never would've have thought that my life (and the life of my kids) would be headed down THIS ROAD: divorce and single parenting. So, as we, my kids and I, travel these new twisty roads together, I decided to chronicle our adventures in this blog, A Great Balancing Act. I'm a bit disheartened about leaving Our Side of the Mountain, but it's attached to our old road, one we won't be driving back down again, but one remembered always. Onto life's next road trip...

  1. Keep your head up as you venture down this new road. No looking back. You'll do fine.

    1. LOL You're a riot, Karen! No worries! I'm sure the lack of tree names threw you off too.

  5. I just discovered you after you stopped to say hi on my blog, so I don't know much about your story, but I felt compelled to send you a hug here. I experienced a sudden, unexpected divorce, too. Mine was after 13 years of marriage and we didn't have any children, so I can't imagine what an additional shock it must have been to you. From my (so far) brief glance at your journey, it sounds like your family is adjusting well and that's such a good thing!
